Dis-ease in the body is created by acidity; too much acidity to be exact. How does over-acidity (a.k.a. acidosis) happen? Well, there are various factors, but the most important and most noteworthy of them is by the food we ingest. The food we eat will either contribute to the health and alkalinity of our internal environment or it will contribute to its deterioration and acidity.
“If you are still eating meat, dairy, and processed foods and you have any of these 3 conditions (or any disease/illness for that matter) you are directly contributing to the growth of disease within your body.”
Let me explain.
Health is basically Chemistry 101. In high school chemistry class, you might remember we learned about base and acid reactions. We were taught that when certain matter mixed, they would either have a base reaction or an acidic one. Well, our health works much in the same way. The food we ingest will also have a base (or alkaline) reaction or it will have an acidic one. And because the body is made up of a bunch of cells and 2 major fluids- blood and lymph- our pH is quite important for these cells and fluids. There are also basically two major systems in the body that are responsible for keeping us alive – the blood system and the lymphatic system.
The blood acts as a vehicle transporting the waste to the sewer system of the body, aka. our lymphatic system. Just as we need to eliminate, so to do our cells. We eat, get nourishment from foods and then we eliminate the waste that is left over in a toilet or septic tank. Well, cells work in the same way. They too must eat and get nourishment and then eliminate the by-products into the body’s septic tank – the lymphatic system. Waste is carried out by way of lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels just as sewer pipes carry waste to a septic tank for final elimination. This elimination happens via our kidneys, our skin, and our bowels.
However, if our diet is acidic and mucus-forming, if we have been adding to the acidity of the internal environment within, much like a septic tank would if unable to break down the waste, our lymphatic system will also back up, and cellular waste gets trapped within and between our cells, within our arteries and organ tissues. This waste is acidic in nature and as it builds and becomes more and more stagnant, we start experiencing symptoms of ill health. This is how dis-ease develops.
Therefore, Crohn’s, IBS and UC- are not diseases so much as they are just symptoms of a larger problem. The problem is an overly acidic body resulting in heavy acidic lymphatic stagnation and constipation within the bowel and intestinal walls. What do acids do? What would happen if we got acid on our skin? Or if we pour coca-cola down the drain of our sink? We know that acid eats right through anything, right? Well when you have a “flare up” from IBS, Crohn’s or UC, this is quite literally the acids eating its way through your intestinal tissues and walls, causing inflammation, ulcerations and bloody stools.
But once we remove the acidosis, once we return our body back to an alkaline state, you start to see tissue regeneration, our cells are literally able to breathe and eliminate properly once again and we start to see a reversal of these symptoms. All we need to do is get back to the right side of chemistry – the alkaline side. Because “disease” can no longer flourish and grow in an alkaline environment.
